In this tour, you are not just drinking sake. Japanese sake is deeply tied to Japanese culture and history.
From the history of Japanese sake, to the region, the brewers, the seller, the cuisine, the lodging, and the dishes, it will be a three-day tour in Nara and Kyoto that allows you to fully appreciate the beauty of sake from a variety of perspectives.

There are about 30 sake breweries in Nara, and many of them are run by families that have long observed tradition. We will take you to one of them and have a private tour with the brewer.

Visit the oldest shrine in Japan, to which brewers come from all across Japan to pray to the god of sake. Have a private tour with the monk of the temple known as the birthplace of Japanese refined sake. In this tour, you will dive deep into the history and culture of sake.

One of the unique aspects of this tour is the chance to stay at the world’s first “sake hotel”. This hotel used to be a brewery, but has been converted into a refined, modern hotel. Savor the Japanese-fusion cuisine creatively matched with Japanese sake.

On the last day of the tour, you will visit Fushimi, an area that flourished through mass sake production. Let’s enjoy Japanese sake from all of these different perspectives!
