This is a one-day tour with a chartered car from Osaka to Nara.
Head out from your hotel in Osaka with an English-speaking guide and take a car to Nara City.
You will make your way around the main spots of Nara City, such as Toda-iji Temple, Nara Park, and the Kasuga-taisha Shrine, all with a local English-speaking guide. Feel the Buddhist culture of Japan at Todai-ji Temple, and learn about Japanese Shinto spirituality at the Kasuga-taisha Shrine. Of course, don’t forget to feed the symbol of Nara, the deer, with some “shika-senbei” deer crackers! Nara City is a rare city where wild deer and humans coexist.
After having lunch at a local restaurant, you will head to Yakushi-ji Temple in western Nara. Here you can see the temple’s eastern pagoda, which is the only remaining building of the original Yakushi-ji Temple complex that existed here 1,300 years ago.
After enjoying Nara City, we will give you a ride back to your hotel in Osaka.
