OVERVIEW

A 4-day highlight tour of Kansai, hitting the main spots for sightseeing!
In Kyoto, we will visit Arashiyama, the Golden Pavilion, and Fushimi Inari-taisha Shrine, which are all very popular with people from around the world. In Nara, enjoy interacting with the friendly deer in Nara Park.
Take photos of Osaka Castle, and head to the blooming plum tree grove in Osaka Castle Park. The pink and white plum flowers are beautiful under the bright, blue sky.
Of course, there are experience programs that will leave you with many memories! From matcha tea to strawberry picking, we hope you enjoy an ambitious four days!

DAY01

Today we will head from the airport to Kyoto and Arashiyama.
You will enjoy Arashiyama and the bamboo forest of Sagano, which are very popular places in Kyoto. These are some great sights of the city where you can have fun and feel that “THIS is Kyoto”.
There is also the option to experience riding a rickshaw, so if you’re interested, feel free to let us know!
DAY02

We start the day off by going to the popular Golden Pavilion.
The sky above the Golden Pavilion is incredibly clear in the winter, so its golden color feels even more beautiful.
After the Golden Pavilion, you will experience matcha tea in Kyoto. You can make your very own nerikiri snack, and then whisk your own cup of matcha tea. You will of course have the chance to take very many photos. After that, we will head to popular places in Kyoto for taking photos, like Kiyomizu-dera Temple and Fushimi Inari-taisha Shrine.
That night, you will stay in Nara City.
DAY03

Today’s tour starts from Todaiji Temple, the pride of Nara!
With wild deer freely walking around Nara Park, it is a popular place for visitors from both within and outside of Japan.
In the afternoon, we head to Asuka, the land where Japan began. Breathe the air of the ancient capital, as you can feel the 1400- year-old history and culture of Asuka Village.
This is the one time of year when you can experience picking Asuka Rubies, the delicious strawberries that Asuka Village is famous for. Be sure to taste the sweet, delicious, freshly-picked strawberries inside the warm house after.
DAY04

Next is the largest city in western Japan.
Osaka is a merchant town that prospered under the control of the Shogun during the Edo period, and now thrives as the “kitchen under the heavens,” utilizing ingredients from all across Japan.
This is the time of year to see the plum flowers at Osaka Castle, the symbol of Osaka.
For lunch, you’ll have takoyaki, the dough balls containing octopus that Osaka is famous for. In the afternoon, enjoy shopping in an area famous for its huge variety of stores and restaurants.
